I. Website Use

i. Registration

Registration is free and simple through DotRebates. Click the "Register" button at the top of the page to be redirected to register. Once you complete all information accurately then click submit and your accont is made active immediately without further activation. Proceed to logging in to shop through our partner stores or use other services.

ii. Login and Logout

At the top of every page there will be a link to allow login, or if you are logged in to be able to logout. Click on these links to enter or exit into the system to file rebates, shop stores and use other services.

iii. Shop Stores

You can shop stores by searching for a store in the store search box at the top left of the website or by visiting "Shop Stores" at the top of the website. You can sort by category, search or view all stores from the shop stores page.

iv. My Account

My account is your central access to your personal information, rebate filing, rebate history, payment requests, payment history, contests, referrals, referral codes and more. You will also find Site Annoucements here by clicking the link near the top labeled Site Annoucements on your My Account page.

II. Filing a Rebate

i. Shopping

When you are ready to purchase from a particular store use the links that we provide to go to the store. Once there purchase and checkout, make sure you are able to get an order ID or a confirmation number, you will need this during the rebate filing process.

ii. Gathering Information

After purchasing from a particular store be sure to write down the confirmation number, order ID or other tracking number as proof of purchase. Also you will need the total amount of the sale not including taxes, shipping, handling, processing or other fees.

iii. Submitting a Rebate

Once you have gathered the appropriate information go to the My Account screen and select "File Rebate." From here you will see the fields required to file your rebate, enter your purchase amount, the store, your order information and the date of the purchase. You can file a rebate without an order ID, but if we can not find match to the store, date and purchase amount your rebate will be declined for insufficient information.

iv. Processing Times

Once a merchant reports cash back as approved, cleared or locked then we process your cash back request. Many merchants will report this information within a week, however in some cases and for larger rebates we may not be able to lock in your cash back for several weeks. If you are having a product held and not shipped, staying at a hotel or in other situations we will not get paid until you stay at that hotel, get that product shipped or such. In this case we will not pay you until we get paid.

III. Request Payment

i. Update Information

Go to your my account tab and click on "Update Account Information." Please double check all information such as address, paypal email, rebate method (mail/PayPal) and all other information. If incorrect please update immediately as these changes will be applied instantly.

ii. Requesting Payment

When you are ready to request payment click on "Request Payment" from the my account screen. If you have at least the minimum amount required to request payment you will see a button allowing you to request payment. Note, if you have filed rebates recently and you believe your cash back is wrong or should be more then your rebates are still being processed or were not approved. If this is the case view your rebate history and contact us if you have any questions.

If you have already requested payment and it is still pending you will not be able to request another payment until that payment has been approved. Payments are approved the same day they are put in the mail or when they are sent via PayPal.

IV. Other Information

i. Contacting Support

To contact support please use the "Contact Support" link from the My Account tab. All of this information is stored in our databases and easily sorted. By using our in-website support system we are ensuring that you receive the reply where in email you may misplace it or it could be marked as spam. If outside contact or mail contact is needed more information will be provided to you via our in-website support system.

ii. Contests and Prizes

Contests may be posted from time to time within our website. To qualify in these you must be a member with a good standing account. Odds of contests may not be posted as many vary based on participation, not all contests may include cash or redeemable prizes. If you are awarded a cash prize this amount may be added to your account if it is of nominal value. If you win or are selected to win a larger prize, cash or non valued, you must provide additional information as these will be sent direct to you with signature confirmation required to ensure proper delivery.

iii. Referring Members

Please refer quality members only, avoid cheap advertising and foreign advertising as many of our stores are only for US members. Currently there are no restrictions for keyword bidding. Do not claim to be parters, work for, or any other affiliation of DotRebates.com or any Dot. Networks. Employees of or partners of are not allowed to participate in our referral system unless otherwise authorized.

iv. Site Annoucements

Please review site annoucements regularly. We implemented this system rather than having to send our frequent newsletters for important information. This ensures that you have access to our annoucements.

v. Additional Support

For additional support please login and use the my account page and select "Contact Support." Fill out your inquiry and submit it and we will contact you back as soon as possible. We only will contact you back via the support system. You will be able to check messages on your My Account page.

V. Store Ratings and Comments

i. What are store ratings?

Store ratings are a collection of votes on a store. Each user can only vote on each store once and will vote 1 to 10, with 10 being the best. Store ratings are displayed on the store details page of each store.

ii. What are store comments?

Store comments are approved comments by administration that are displayed on each store details page. Users are encouraged to discuss their experience with the particular company or product that they purchased. Comments are only accepted by users who are not affiliated or work for DotRebates, the particular company or any competition of the company.

iii. How do you rate stores?

When you search for a store or display all stores select "Select Store" to go to the detailed view of that store. Once at the detailed screen below the coupon information, store information and current rating you will be able to choose a rating from 1 to 10 and click rate to apply your change. You can only vote once per store per account, your vote can never be changed, but will be removed if your account is ever banned or deleted.

iv. How do you post comments?

You may post comments on the store details page when you "Select Store" from the store search page. Under the coupons and store details you will see an area to type your comment and post. All comments are moderated and must be appropriate. Use family friendly tones and language or your comment will never be declined. You may lose your privledge to comment or rate if you abuse this system.

v. How do you view comments?

At the store details page, if there are any approved comments, they will be at the very bottom of the page just above the terms of service and privacy policy links. If you feel a link is inappropriate or offends you please let us know immediately as it may of slipped through our moderation.
